Making notes
Start with the black hat, then position the eyes and carrot nose above the red scarf. Add the two belly buttons while filling the lower snowball, leaving the scarf tail visible on the right.
This small snowman keeps the costume cues that matter: a tall hat, carrot nose, wrapped scarf and two coal buttons. There are no stick arms or decorative snow dots outside the body. The head and lower snowball join beneath the scarf, so the design remains one piece rather than two loose discs.
Assemble the hat crown and its wider brim before outlining the head. Set the black eye pair on row 10 and the five orange nose beads across rows 11–12. Place the scarf's horizontal wrap at row 15 and extend its tail down the right side. Fill the belly around the buttons at rows 18 and 20, then close the rounded base. The orange nose protrudes one square farther on its lower row; it is not a centered square dot. The scarf tail runs down inside the white belly, so filling that area too early hides the garment. Keep one white row between the two belly buttons. The absent arm spaces must remain empty.
Pattern layout and bead count
One standard square board accommodates the entire 25×25 coordinate field. Only columns 8–18 and rows 3–23 contain beads, producing a slender 11-column figure. Seven blank columns on each side keep the hat and belly centered without widening the character. Checkpoints: The eye beads are at row 10, columns 12 and 15; the orange nose contains five beads on rows 11–12. Two belly buttons sit at row 18 and row 20, both in column 13. Row 15 holds the nine-bead scarf wrap across columns 9–17; occupied bounds span 11 columns. The hat begins with five Black beads at row 3, columns 11–15; its widest brim is on row 8.
Ways to customize this pattern
Give the scarf a different color while leaving the carrot and black buttons unchanged. Twig arms are deliberately absent; adding them creates a new shape that needs its own attachment check.
The default list is 109 White P01, 44 Black P18, 17 Red P05 and five Orange P04 beads. Most black beads belong to the hat, not facial features. The warm carrot remains a separate accent even though it is the smallest pile. Scarf recoloring should leave the orange nose visible against the face.
Print and iron checklist
The hat brim has exposed ends above a narrower head join. Check these ends and the scarf-to-body area when releasing the snowman from the board. The rounded belly provides support, but twisting the tall hat can still stress the neck. Use the bead brand's ironing guidance and a flat cooling surface. Before export, verify the 25×25 coordinates, 175-bead total and the selected brand’s merged color counts against the on-page material list.
Project ideas for Little Scarf Snowman
Place this narrow upright silhouette on a winter card strip or beside a group of snow characters. For a garland, attach the hanging thread to a backing and support the hat brim rather than using it as a carrying handle.
The source grid uses A and the other design symbols only as internal color roles. The interactive chart replaces them with the selected manufacturer codes, while its material list combines any roles that map to the same bead color.
