Rules for using the tool

Terms in plain language

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using mybeadpattern, your rights in the images and patterns you work with, and the limits of this free service.

Effective date:

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using mybeadpattern, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

If you are not old enough to agree to these Terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.

What the service provides

mybeadpattern is a free browser-based tool that converts photos and pixel art into editable fuse-bead patterns. It can provide palette matching, bead-by-bead editing, counts, printable exports, and optional share links.

No account is required. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the tool evolves.

Your images, patterns, and rights

You keep any rights you already hold in images, text, and other content you use with the service. You are responsible for having permission to use that content and for how you use the resulting pattern.

mybeadpattern does not claim ownership of your source image or pattern output. Your source image is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded by the application.

Respect other creators. Do not use the service to copy, distribute, sell, or publicly share content when doing so would violate someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Optional share links

When you choose to create a share link, you give us a limited permission to host, reproduce, and transmit the submitted pattern data only as needed to provide that link. This permission ends when the stored share is deleted, except for minimal records required to preserve the deletion.

A share link is a public capability link: anyone who receives it can view the stored pattern. Do not place confidential information or personal data in the optional title or author fields.

New shares can be deleted only from a browser that still holds the matching creator deletion credential. Clearing site data removes that credential. Older shares and shares with a lost credential may require a support request and may not be technically deletable.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal, educational, and other lawful creative purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service or shared links for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Upload or share content that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or introduce malicious code.
  • Use automated requests in a way that burdens the service or prevents others from using it.
  • Misrepresent an affiliation with mybeadpattern or a bead manufacturer.

We may block requests, remove shared pattern data, or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or third parties.

Third-party brands and services

Perler®, Hama®, Artkal® and Nabbi® are trademarks of their respective owners. mybeadpattern is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any bead manufacturer. Palette colors are community-measured approximations and may differ from physical beads, screens, printers, lighting, or production batches.

The service relies on third-party hosting, domain, and email providers. Their services may have separate terms and may affect availability.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service useful, but continuous or error-free operation is not promised. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, abuse controls, browser changes, or project decisions may interrupt or change the service.

You are responsible for saving copies of pattern files or printouts you want to keep. Shared links are not permanent storage.

Warranty disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee pattern accuracy, color matching, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Fuse-bead crafting involves heat and small parts. Follow the bead and iron manufacturers’ instructions and provide appropriate adult supervision.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mybeadpattern and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or use, arising from or related to the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability for claims related to the free service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the service in the previous twelve months or 10 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes, severability, and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement about your use of the service.
